We do one thing, and we do it for the Upper Hunter: made-to-measure blinds, fitted properly, for the way people actually live out here. Not a metro showroom with a country add-on. A valley business that understands the valley’s rooms.
Why we exist
Blinds here aren’t decoration
Out here a blind is climate gear. It’s what lets a night-shift worker sleep at eleven in the morning, what keeps the hard western sun from cooking a lounge, and what stops the dust and the glare doing their worst. The verandah was the first blind this country ever had. We just make the modern version, to fit your window.
Most window furnishing gets sold on how it looks. We start from what the room has to survive, and let the look follow.
How we work
Plain, and to your window
Made to measure, always
Every blind is made to the measurement of your window, fitted by a licensed installer. No standard sizes cut down to almost-fit.
One visit, one written quote
We come out, measure, talk through what suits, and put a clear number in writing. No price before we’ve seen the job, because an honest one needs the measure.
Safe and honest
Corded blinds fitted to the mandatory safety standard, cordless where a room needs it, and no claims we can’t stand behind.
Why there’s no phone number
You’ll notice we don’t list a phone. That’s deliberate. A blinds job starts with a measure, and a measure starts with knowing the rooms. The form asks for exactly what we need to book that visit, so nothing gets lost in a rushed call between shifts. Send it whenever suits, day or night, and we’ll come back to you to arrange a time.
If you’d rather work it out first, the room planner turns your windows into a starting list you can bring to the measure. Either way, the form is the front door.
Our patch
We measure right across the Upper Hunter: Muswellbrook, Singleton, Scone, Aberdeen, Denman, Merriwa and the country in between. A homestead drive is part of the job, not a problem.
